I work with a range of settings and local authorities both face to face and virtually to help support the children and young people in the care. Please explore this page to see the range of services I offer.
(Approx. 30 minutes) to observe the child/young person in-person or virtually
(Approx. 1-1½ hours) to meet with staff and parents/carers to explore their concerns, gather a good understanding of the child’s life experiences, clarify what their main hopes are from my involvement and help form psychological perspectives.
I am flexible and varied in my approach to suit the child/young person’s needs and age and stage of development. I will discuss in advance what the session will entail (e.g. standardised or dynamic assessment, activities to gain their views, assess their emotional needs etc).
This will be a written summary that explains what was found during the assessment, gives a psychological understanding of the child/young person’s needs, and includes helpful recommendations to support them at school and home.
"Chenelle’s support throughout the assessment process was invaluable. She provided detailed insights and practical recommendations that were tailored to the child’s needs... taking time to listen to their [parents'] views which greatly supported a collaborative approach."
