I have been an educational psychologist for over 12 years working across London and other local authorities across the UK. I’m passionate about embedding inclusive practice in my work, ensuring every child’s unique needs are recognised and supported and that my recommendations provide effective impact.
Throughout my career, I’ve supported a wide range of nurseries, schools, and colleges, including specialist and alternative provisions. I’ve collaborated with a wide range of professionals to support children’s needs including speech and language therapists, social workers, paediatricians, occupational therapists, clinical and forensic psychologists. My specialist educational psychologist role within a multi-disciplinary social care team helped me to collaborate with a range of professionals regularly to support the most vulnerable children and families within a London borough. I have also supported schools and families systemically through workshops and training sessions.
I continue to work with local authorities contributing on the Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plan panel as well as carrying out EHCP assessments and traded work with schools. Alongside this, I now offer private services to both schools and families to support the children and young people in their care. I expanded my role to include private work because I wanted to offer more personalised and timely support to families and schools who were finding it hard to access help through traditional routes. While I still value and enjoy my work with local authorities, I often find there just isn’t enough time to support everyone who needs it. Working privately now gives me the flexibility to connect directly with families—and to work more closely and flexibly with schools. This helps me to offer support that’s responsive, timely and centred around the unique needs of each child and setting.
I really value the variety in my work with both the local authority and working privately, as it allows me to support children at different stages of need and in diverse communities across the UK.
As a parent myself, I understand how precious children are and how important it is to support their development and wellbeing. My own experiences help me to work with empathy and understanding, whether I’m supporting a family or a professional team that cares deeply about the children in their care.
Prior to working as an educational psychologist, I worked in a range of roles within education such as an English language assistant, teaching assistant, assistant head of year, education welfare officer and trainee educational psychologist. I’ve also had the opportunity to live, study, and work in Spain, Barbados, the United States, and the UK and can speak Spanish at a conversational level. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for different cultures, languages, and education systems—all of which help me connect with and support the families I work with. I continue to enjoy travelling and learning about new ways of life, and I find that this curiosity and openness enriches my professional practice.
I am qualified as an educational psychologist to doctoral level and am registered as a practitioner psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), following my professional ethical guidelines throughout my practice.

I have worked with children and young people with a range of needs and diagnoses including but not limited to: Speech, Language and Communication, Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia/Specific Literacy Differences, dyscalculia, Learning Differences, Global Developmental Delay, motor coordination needs, Sensory Differences, Physical Needs, School Absence/Avoidance, gender identity, Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). I support adults in understanding a child’s needs with or without a diagnosis and can support the process towards a diagnosis if this is in the child’s best interest and it aligns with parents’ preferences.
I am passionate about and have vast experience in supporting all children. My special interests and research areas are working with children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) needs as well as those from disadvantaged backgrounds or minority ethnic groups.
I collaborate with many families, school staff and professionals to support the children and young people in their care. I aim to understand children and young people’s needs by exploring the dynamic relationship between their individual strengths and difficulties and the environment around them, rather than adopting a solely 'within-child' perspective to any challenges. I'm also an advocate for gaining the views of the children and young people despite their needs and developmental stage. These principles allow me to use ‘person-centred’ approaches to help the adults around the child to adapt their approach, and the environmental context, to support the child or young person.
I’m trained and experienced in using a range of approaches and techniques suited to the individual needs of the child. This can include whole-school or parent training, observations, assessment with individual child, questionnaires and consultation meetings with key adults.
I am able to support children and young people at all stages of need including those on Special Educational Needs Support (SEN support) and those applying for or accessing an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
I am able to work virtually or face to face to conduct assessments according to the specific needs. Please see the services available on the Parent & Carer page or Schools & Authorities page for more information.
